{Our Gentle Reminder}
In a world dominated by algorithms, hashtags and followers it has become important that we structure our lives to make time for what matters most. This has resulted in the emergence of the new “self-care” movement that is busy taking 2018 by storm. Self-care embraces the notion that in order to take care of others, it is essential that we take care of ourselves. It is not a case of “me first”, but rather “me, too”.
Starting your self-care journey may seem like a daunting task, and some may even label these endeavours as selfish, but self-care can comprise of small daily acts that will reap major benefits in your daily life. Be it a weekly yoga class, an evening walk or even something as banal as your daily skin care routine, the opportunities to incorporate acts of self-care into your life are endless.
At Yungskin we believe that skin care should be your first act of self-care on a daily basis. It is irrelevant if your skin care routine has an intricate number of steps or if you prefer to opt for a splash and dash approach, we remind you to breathe, breathe, breathe and take this time to relax, reflect and reenergise yourself.
If anything, the Yungskin journey has taught us that self-care is more a priority and a necessity than a luxury. We have learnt that by looking after our brand, people and our product we have automatically helped those in our tribe to look and feel at their absolute best.
We are here to tell you that, it’s okay if the only thing you did today was breathe…and wash your face.
